About the site.
This site was opened on July 23, 2015 as a fanlisting originally, but at the suggestion of a friend I have since expanded the site to include a shrine as well. I started work on the shrine at the beginning of September and finished on October 1, 2015––the day Rune Factory 4 was released in North America! (I couldn't resist doing this *cough*) I'm sure from how much I talk about this game it is obvious how much I love it, and honestly I'm surprised I didn't think to do a shrine sooner. Maybe I did, but avoided the idea because making game shrines is not easy to do. I can't remember. Whatever the case I did it, even if it was a massive struggle the entire time. I have a lot to say about this game so I'm happy I was able to make this shrine.
When I opened the site as a fanlisting it went under the name "Travelers of the Wind" the full English translation of the name of the opening theme. I liked the name of it but when I decided to turn the fanlisting into a shrine I didn't like how it looked on the network page at my domain (silly, I know, but I'm picky about these things). I then decided to change the name to "Precious Memories". While truthfully this name doesn't appear that much shorter I love it to bits and feel it really connects with the theme of the game. I now refuse to change it to anything else.
Currently we are on version 2 of the site which features Lest and Frey respectively. The layout was made by me using Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and then coded by hand using Notepad. This layout was tough to make and didn't quite turn out the way I originally planned, but I'm happy with the end result. I'm also happy that it still looks good after doing some changes with the layout some months later. The image used in the layout was screencapped by me from a video found on YouTube and patterns used were from Subtle Patterns or made by me. Fonts used are called Gabriola and AR CENA. Credit goes to Wikipedia and Rune Factory Wiki for some information used on this site. Previous layouts used may be found at my layout archive.
